Database Plans
At GrapheneDB, we offer a broad spectrum of plans designed to ensure sufficient resources for various data set sizes and workloads. The best plan to choose for your deployments should be determined by your dataset and data model, query complexity, and performance goals.
All of our plans are hosted on Amazon Web Services dedicated instances.
Tiers
Single Tier
For dedicated stand-alone deployments, select one of our Single plans.
You can easily scale up or down your deployment using our Change plan feature. Your connection settings and authentication credentials remain the same after plan change operation. You can find more information on changing plans in this article.
Cluster Tier
For causal clustering deployments, select one of our Cluster plans.
As is the case with our Single Tier, you can scale your dataset when it’s needed with our change plan feature. Your connection settings and authentication credentials remain the same after plan change operations and no downtime is involved in the operation.
Deployment options
GrapheneDB offers the following deployment options in the different tiers:
Neo4j Community | Neo4j Enterprise(BYOL) | ONgDB | |
Single | Yes | Yes | Yes (on demand)* |
Cluster | No | Yes | Yes |
* Please reach out to our support team if you want to deploy a database running ONgDB.
Placements
Databases should be placed as close to the application as feasible to provide the best performance. GrapheneDB provides hosting in most AWS regions while also providing the possibility to establish a VPC peering to ensure that your database is always deployed inside an AWS VPC. Make sure that you choose the desired AWS region when creating your Environment.
GrapheneDB supports the majority of AWS regions. If you cannot locate a region you're looking for, please reach out to our support team and you will get information on the status of supporting it.
